Shame is something that is so often used in religious contexts as a tool to separate people from Jesus. In John chapter eight, we see that Jesus is there to eliminate that shame and not to condemn us. If the church operates at its best, we can be a place for healing, just like Jesus.
This is my first time preaching, so although the delivery isn’t that of an experienced pastor, the thought and research I put into this was extensive.
